Ima Jean Creason passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 in Newcastle, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Newcastle. Interment will be in Holliday, Texas Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham.
Mrs. Creason was born July 10, 1936 in Post Oak, Texas and moved to Newcastle in 1973 from Oklahoma. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newcastle.
Survivors include 2 sons, Bob Barnes and wife Sue, Troy Barnes and wife Nikki all of Newcastle; 4 daughters, Barbara Jean Osburn of Arkansas City, Kansas, Betty Joyce Heid and husband Bob of Indiana, Sandy Bouldin and husband Randy Rogers of Palo Pinto, Texas, Amber Kelley of Newcastle; brother, Wilburn Nichols and wife Judy of Holliday, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Beulah Nichols, a brother W.T. Nichols, a sister Edna Mae Moore, her husband, Robert Raymond Barnes in 1989 and by her second husband, Don Creason in 2005.
