Thomas Jefferson Miller and his daughter, Margurett Barnes, Donated land for Antioch Cemetery after the death of his daughter, Theodocia in 1875, but others had been buried there earlier. The earliest marked grave is Alonzo Holmes in 1872. The State historical marker in the cemetery has several errors on it. Thomas Jefferson Miller is buried with wife, Patience, and daughter, Theodocia, inside an iron fence with a triple headstone.
