VERONA-Margaret A. Barker, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 1992, at St. Mary's Medical Center
following a short Illness. She was born In Vermont Township on August 19 1910, and was raised and educated In
the MT. Horeb area. She was the daughter of John and Julia (Odness)McKinley. She married Harry J. Barker on June 18, 1942. She has been a resident of Verona for the past 36 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic church and Altar Society, Verona American Legion Auxiliary, and the Verona Senior Citizens Club. She Is survived by three sons; Harry (Nancy) Barker of Oregon, Richard (Marylin) Barker of Monona, and Thomas Barker of Verona; a daughter, Mary (Ronald) Gordon of Verona; nine grandchildren, James Barker of Madison, Jennifer Barker of Oregon, Michael and Bradley Barker of Monona, Tammie Barker, Jerad (Rachael) Barker and Angela Barker all of Lombard, Illinois, Orrin and Nathan Gordon both of Verona; and three sisters, Mary Rafferty of Madison, Ruth Lanning of Rockford, Illinois, and Kathleen Rinehart of Milton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded In death by her husband; a granddaughter, Kristen Barker; her parents; two brothers, John and Christopher McKinley; and three sisters, Bridget Stone Dillon, Sarah Ryan, and Virginia Lanning. A mass of
Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 11, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church In Verona.
Friends may call on Friday, July 10, 1992 at the JOYCE FUNERAL HOME In Verona from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m,
where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be In St. Andrew's Cemetery In Verona.
