A. Spencer Cole, 1304 Second street, was advised in a message received Friday noon of the death of his brother, Charles C. Cole, which occurred early today in a Sacramento, California, hospital, where he had been a patient for several days. Mr. Cole, or 'Dick' as he was more familiarly known, was a native of Portsmouth, being a son of the late Capt. A. B. Cole of Scioto Trail, and spent the greater part of his life here. He left Portsmouth about twelve years ago and located in California. He was 62 years old and is survived by two brothers, A. Spencer Cole of this city and Van Cole of Orenna, Nevada.
