She was baptised in the Evangelical (Lutheran) Church in nearby Békéscsaba, presumably because this was her mother's faith.
She married Hajdú István, and they moved to Orosháza, Békés, Hungary, where she bore six children.
She died there 2 Jan 1909, aged 78, in the 50th year of her marriage. She is buried in the northern (upland) cemetery there, where her grave is maintained to this day.
