Addis was born July 26, 1892 at Greeley, Colo., and moved to Oklahoma in 1900 with his parents. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Sayre since 1960. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventists Church in Elk City, Okla.
Survivors include three sons, Loyd of Elk City, and Virgil and George of Borger, Tex; four daughters, Mrs. Mae Judd of Beaver, Okla., Mrs. Juanita Womack of Cow Chilla, Calif., Mrs. Nellie Word, Covina, Calif., Mrs. Loraine Hysmith Borger, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Merle McCamon of Sayre, Mrs. Drew Hughes of Ada, and Mrs. Neva Merrifield of Sayre; 29 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Berlin Cemetery by Moore Funeral Home, Sayre.
