Carl Jameson Died June 25
Carl Theodore Jameson, 86, a resident of the Loma section for more than 60 years, died Tuesday, June 25, 1974, at his ranch home north of Loma.
Mr. Jameson was born Jan. 29, 1888, at Waseca, Minnesota, son of Knute and Margaret Jameson. He was baptized and confirmed in the North Waseca Lutheran Church.
He homesteaded near Loma in 1913 and had since farmed there, working at various jobs in several states during the winter months.
April 11, 1952, he was married to Pansy Lanham in Beaumont, Texas. During the past several winters he had lived in Mesa, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Pansy Lanham Jameston, of Mesa; four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Paulson of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Tena Hanson, Mrs. Agnes Schoenrock and Mrs. Corie Stortroen, all of Waseca, Minn. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Broughton.
Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Donald Rousu at the Benton Funeral Home Friday, June 28th. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
