Arnie E. Brannen Died Thursday
Arnie E. Brannen,74,died last Thursday at home.
The Liberty County native lived most of his life in Tattnall County and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and formerly served as deacon at Smyrna Baptist Church, a retired farmer and a mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Letha Brannen of Glennville; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Ann Barrow and Mrs. Linda Smiley, both of Lyons, Mrs. Elise Godwin of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Joy Hollowell of Glennville; three sons, William and the Rev. Edward Brannen, both of Glennville and James Brannen of Claxton; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. last Saturday at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge of arrangements.
