FORMER PARMA COUPLE CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY; Paducah, KY., - Mr. and Mrs. Billy "Bill" Crabb, formerly of Parma, Mo., were guest of honor for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration hosted recently by their children at the Kountry Kubbard in Cunningham. Crabb and the former Jewell "Judy" Egger were married Dec. 20., 1952, in Piggott, Ark., and their attendants were Smoky Johnson of Parma and the late Laura Johnson. Crabb, son of the late Listle and Anna Mae Crabb is a retired school bus driver and Mrs. Crabb, daughter of the late Lloyd and Ellen Egger, retired from Bell South Telephone of Paducah. Their children are Ronda Hays of Cunningham and Rick Crabb of Bertrand, Mo. They have two granddaughters, Tasha Hays of Cunningham and Maya Lea Guthrie of Bertrand; and one great-grandson, Nate Guthrie of Bertrand.

Obituary on William: Paducah, Ky. - Bill Crabb, 76, formerly of Parma, Mo., died at 1:34 p.m. May 28, 2003, at the Medco Center of Paducah. Born May 29, 1926, in Parma, son of the late L.F. and Anna Mae Crabb, he was a school bus driver in Southeast Missouri before retiring. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was of the Baptist belief. His wife, Jewell Dean Crabb, survives of the home. Other survivors include; one son, Rick Crabb of Bertrand, Mo.; one daughter, Ronda Hays of Cunningham; one sister, Helen Davis of Smithville, Mo.; two brothters, Jack Crabb of West Bloomfield, Michigan and Herbert Crabb of Sikeston, Mo.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One brother preceded him in death. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Paducah, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jim Eskew will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Cunningham, Carlisle County.
