Virginia Ann Aagard Johnson, 59, of Spanish Fork, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah. Virginia was born on June 11, 1946 to Arvard J. and Sarah Florence Aagard in Fountain Green, Utah. She attended Sanpete County schools and graduated from Payson High School.
Virginia married her sweetheart, Scott Arnold Johnson, on December 4, 1965 and was the loving mother of three daughters. She worked at Denny's Caf in Spanish Fork and enjoyed yardwork, fishing, and bowling.
She is survived by her husband, Scott A. Johnson, of Spanish Fork; her mother, Florence Workman, Holladay; three daughters, Heather Johnson, of Salt Lake City; Raquel (Don) Stoneman, Spanish Fork; and Amberly Johnson, of Salt Lake City. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Korbin, Paige, and Nolan; two brothers, Andrew Aagard, Salt Lake City; James Aagard, of Elko, Nevada; and two sisters, Nanette (Mike) Olsen, Santaquin; and Diane Aagard, of Bountiful. Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Arvard Aagard; and her step-father, Grant Workman.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Fountain Green Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. Interment will be in the Fountain Green Cemetery, Fountain Green, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Salt Lake City Mission or Homeless Shelter.
