Mrs. Aliene Kirkpatrick Silvis, 72, Lynwood Calif., died yesterday in Dominguez Valley Hospital, Compton, Calif. She was a native of Rural Valley.

Born Sept. 17, 1898 in Rural Valley, she was the daughter of L. Dow and Annie E. Schrecengost Kirkpatrick. She was the widow of Joseph W. Silvis.

Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. E. M. (Genevieve) Frantz, Kittanning; Mrs. Donald (Mildred) HIllard, Rural Valley; and Mrs. Ivan (Mary) Sowers, Compton, Calif.; a brother, Max V. Kirkpatrick, Meridian; two sons, Robert and Dale, both of Compton, Calif. and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Blalock, also of Compton.

Burial will take place in Compton, Calif.
