She was a sales clerk and buyer of housewares for Howland's Dry Goods Company in Bridgeport, Fairfield, CT.
She loved her rose garden, bridge and baseball (favorite team was the Brooklyn Dodgers).
She would not go on an airplane after her son took her for a ride in his little single prop and performed all of the wonderful stunts he had learned and terrified his mother (way to go Dad). When she came to visit us she always took the bus (3000 miles-one way)
Sarah is my Grandmother (Gramma)
