Berniece I. Exline "Bea", was called home on August 16, 2011. She was born to a large family on July 22, 1927 in Hudson, Colorado. Bea was one of 8 children. With a strong faith and an amazing love for her family, she was the bond that held her family together. She spent much of her time devoted to the love of God, her family and community. Bea had a long career at Chuck Colvin Ford. Upon retiring she worked at the McMinnville Fire Department and doing volunteer work in her community and church.

Married to Ethan Exline for 35 years, Bea enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing. She found great joy in creating special gifts of food and clothing for her family and friends.

Bea is survived by her sister, Jerry Chambers of Lafayette, CO, two daughters Sherryl Phipps of Shelton, WA, Cathy Exline of Sweet Home, OR, two sons Rance Exline of Denver, CO, and Calvin Exline of Vancouver, WA, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grand children, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ethan Exline, step-daughter Bethan Reinoehl and step-son, Rodney Exline.

While we grieve for her passing, we celebrate her joining the angels and those that have gone before her. Graveside services will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at the Masonic Cemetery in McMinnville, OR. Viewing will be held at the Chapel of Macy & Son on Sunday, August 21 from 12 – 5 pm.
