FRANKLIN DELANO DAMRON, 76, of Prichard, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 at his home. Frank was born Feb. 26, 1937 in Prichard, the youngest son of the late Ella Blankenship. He was a 1953 graduate of Fort Gay High School . He attended Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida . Frank was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed travelling around the country and the world but his heart was always in Wayne County . Frank was a loving father and an awesome "Grandpa". He had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Tucker) Damron. He is survived by his son, Dale Damron; two daughters, Tammy Kay Davis (Bryan Davis) and Karen Damron; seven grandchildren and sister Ruby Thompson. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at Young's Funeral Home Chapel Thursday in Louisa with burial following at White Chapel Cemetery in Barboursville.
