Merlin A. Petty, 75, passed away on August 17, 2011 in St. George, Utah. He was born September 8, 1935 in Holden, Utah to Arnold Heber and Martha Elizabeth Roberts Petty. He was married to Edith Robbins.

Merlin is also survived by his sons, Bryce and Brett; daughters Daneen and Raylynn (Wes) Reed; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and sisters Beaulah Huntsman, Kaylynn Haggard, and Gwen (Phil) Hirschi of Cedar City.
