Clifton Van Morrell, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 11, 1945, in Salina, Utah. A resident for 35 years, he was a cook and a member of the Gay and Lesbian Foundation.
He is survived by his mother, Maggie Redding, one sister, Evan Smith, and one brother, Lynn Allred, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be one hour prior to 4 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
The family suggests donations to Aid for AIDS of Nevada, Sahara/Rancho Medical Center, 2300 Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
