MRS. MORRIS BAKER

Mrs. Morris Baker died on the 12th of June in her 80th year. Mrs. Baker was the oldest settler in Barton county, coming to this county before the war. Her home for many years was always filled with visitors and she took delight in having her children and grandchildren around her. Among her children are Zack and James Brady, formerly of this county but now residing in Vernon county. She was a kind considerate Christian woman and her long life was marched by many acts of charity and kindness.
