"MEADVILLE, Mo. -- Cecil (Sid) Timmons, 73, died Tuesday morning at a Chillicothe, Mo., hospital.

He was born June 4, 1912, in Wheeling, Mo., and had been a longtime resident of Linn County. Mr. Timmons was a retired farmer. He married the former Donna Frances Neely on Sept. 21, 1945, in Trenton, Mo. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons, Ronald Timmons of Kansas City, Mo., and Marvin Timmons of Chillicothe; two daughters, Mary Allen of Meadville and Brenda Timmons of Brookfield, Mo.; a brother, Jesse Timmons of Meadville; three sisters, Evelyn Kibler of Chillicothe, Marjorie Calloway of Meadville and Martha Campbell of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Norman-Wagy-Singer Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial will be in Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Mo." St Joseph Gazette, July 4, 1985
