Blanche Dellinger Arnold, 93, of Texarkana, Texas joined her husband, William "Dub" Arnold, Jr. in heaven on Tuesday, August 16, 2011.

Mrs. Arnold was born August 10, 1918 in Cowlingsville, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also an active member of Fairview United Methodist Church as a Sunday school teacher, president of her Sunday school class, and president of United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her son, Lester Arnold of San Francisco, California; daughter, Sophia Teel, of Texarkana; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Lauren and Zachary Pianalto of Wake Village, family friend, Vicki Maxey, of Texarkana; special friend, Deborah Walker, of New Boston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cephas Crooks Dellinger, Sr. and Sophia Shillings Needham Dellinger; and seven brothers and sisters.

Services will be 1 p.m., Friday at Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church, 6203 N. Kings Hwy, Texarkana, Texas with Rev. Garry Masterson and Rev. Preston Greenwaldt officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, Ark.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 18th at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
