Obituary: The Randolph Leader, January 26, 1994

SYLACAUGA, AL – Lois Ethel Crouch Adcock, 95, of Sylacauga, died Monday, January 24, 1994, at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga.

Mrs. Adcock was born in Randolph County on July 30, 1898, daughter of James Henry and Dora Lyles Crouch and was a lifelong resident of the county. She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Elus Adcock, and son, Cecil Crouch Adcock, and was the last survivor of 13 children. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 1994 at Friendship Christian Church, Wedowee, with interment in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are grandsons.

Survivors include two daughters, Sollie Riley of Dothan and Willadeen Thompson of Sylacauga; five grandsons, two granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are by Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Sylacauga.
