Anton Aasrud, 77, Winnett rancher since 1910, died at his ranch. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Creel Funeral Home. Born Aug. 10, 1878, in Hommelvig, Norway, he came to the United States in 1896, settling first in Duluth, Minn. He came to Winnett in 1910, where he homesteaded and resided since. In 1913, Aasrud married Julia Matilda Ingebo at Roundup. His wife died in 1935. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Retterer, Billings; sons, Alden of Winnett, and Carl of Billings; a sister, Mrs. Louise Bjorgum, Hommelvig, Norway; a brother, Gustav Gunderson, Duluth, Minn., and five grandchildren.
