James Edward Coggins, 67, of 64 B St., Jacksonville died Friday after an automobile accident.
Services were Sunday, Nov. 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Profile Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McDonald and Rev. Floyd Williams officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery with Roebuck-Greenlawn Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Betty King of Winston-Salem, NC, Mrs. Barbara Cauley of Bee Branch, AR, Mrs. Wanda Bonds of Jacksonville, Mrs. Jean Dickeson of White Plains and Mrs. Deborah Hensley of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Fred and Billy Coggins, both of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Hope of Arneda, MI; three half sisters, Mrs. Ruth Tolbert of Jacksonville, Mrs. Francis Maddox of Piedmont, and Mrs. Lola Burns of Anniston; one brother, Horace Coggins of Jacksonville; and one half brother, J. W. Coggins of Georgia.
Mr. Coggins was a veteran of World War II and a resident of Jacksonville for several years.
