The funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Schurr, nee Emma Schultz, was born February 28, 1891 in the Town of Manitowoc, daughter of the late Henry and Wilhelmina Schmadelbeck Schultz. She was married to David Schurr May 17, 1917 in Two Rivers. The couple engaged in farming. Mr. Schurr preceded her in death in 1967. Mrs. Schurr was a charter member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church.
Survivors include a son, Henry of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Kermit (Irma) Johnson of Valders; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Two daughters, a brother and two sisters preceded her death.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church from noon until the time of service.
