Joseph P. Ditter, 85, of 81 Fifth Street, died Saturday at St Agnes hospital. He was born at St. Peter on June 23, 1876, the son of George and Margaret Sabel Ditter, and was married to Elizabeth Haubrich at. St.Peter on Nov. 11, 1901.
Sixteen years ago Mr Ditter came to Fond du Lac after retiring as a farmer In the St. Peter area. He was a member of St. Mary's church and the Holy Name society.
Survivors are a son, Ambrose Ditter, city; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Gerhartz, Route 3; a brother, Peter Ditter, St. Peter; and a sister, Mrs. Herman Engel, city. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, four sisters, and a brother.
