Thomas Richard "Tom" Brewer, 69, passed away February 28, 2010. He was born December 25, 1940, in Chicago IL to Raymond and Gertrude Brewer. Tom's family moved to Oklahoma City OK in 1955 and to Guthrie OK in 1959. Tom served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963. Tom's dad ran the American Painters Supply in Guthrie until he died in 1973. When Tom came home from the service, he ran a TV repair shop out of the back of the paint store. He met and married Rose Simpson in 1963. Tom retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 38 years of service as a computer technician. He loved fishing, camping, tinkering with electronics, and working on the computer. Rose and Tom's house always had an open door policy for all the kids that came and went over the years.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
He is survived by his brother Rick Brewer and wife Debbie; children Angela Hughes and husband Brian of Norman OK, and Damon Brewer and wife Jennifer of Norman; two grandchildren; and a host of other loved family and friends.
