ELSIE L. KOENIG, 95, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Woodview Healthcare. Born in Crestline, Ohio, she was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church; former President Federation of Lutheran Women; and a Precinct Committee person for the Republican Party.
Surviving are her daughter, Eileen A. (Gary) Rogers of Fort Wayne; son, Lynn P. Koenig of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Dawn Brooks and Mike Rogers. She was preceded in death by husband, Wilfred.
Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funereal Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
