Lucinda may have been married first to a man named "Burton." When Lucinda traveled to Utah with her brother in 1856, her name was listed as "Lucinda A. Burton"; her son was "Joel Andrew Burton."
Joel was a polygamist. He married:
(1) Anna Pixley Johnson - November 2, 1826. She died September 11, 1840.
Joel then married four women polygamously:
(2) Susan Bryant - October 20, 1840
(3) Janet Fife - October 25, 1845
(4) Lucinda Alzina Bascom - October 25, 1845
(5) Margaret Threlkeld - October 11, 1860
Lucinda did not live with Joel very much; in the censuses she was living with her brother, Joel Bascom, by herself, or with her adult son and his wife and children.
