Bobbie Jean Payton, 84, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: May be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Bobbie was born April 13, 1927. She loved to crochet and cook. Bobbie loved to stay in touch with her friends and neighbors. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bill Payton.
Survivors: Sons, Jay Payton and Jerre Payton and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Jeremiah Payton and wife, Tara, Jonathan Payton and Katie Payton; great-grandchildren, Van and Gavin Payton; and beloved pet, Roxy.
