LOLA WHITE, 81, of West Hamlin, W.Va., passed away August 6, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born January 8, 1923, in Wayne, W.Va., a daughter of the late Martin and Ellen Workman Caldwell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Enon United Baptist Church at Little Harts, W.Va. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mills White, and a daughter, Evelyn Falkenstien. She is survived by eight children, Martin White of Ranger, Kansas Murray of Branchland, Robert White Jr. of Lexington, Ky., William Millard White of Sturgis, Mich., Cletis White of Midkiff, Connie Lee White of Wayne, Barbara Fulton of Ranger and Beverly Adkins of Ten Mile; three brothers, John Caldwell of Huntington, Hobert Caldwell of Constantine, Mich., and Thomas Caldwell of Florida; one sister, Mae Wiley of Florida; 34 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at Enon United Baptist Church, Little Harts, W.Va., with the Rev. Thomas Vance, Linzie Queen and Dallas Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in the White Neace Cemetery, Ranger, W.Va. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the church. McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, is in charge of arrangements.
