She moved to Brownfield as a child in a covered wagon. She attended Brownfield schools and graduated from Brownfield High school. She had worked in a drug store in Brownfield.
She married N.L. "Tuck" Brandon on 3 July 1928 in Snyder, Texas. He preceded her in death.
The couple moved to Breckenridge in 1936. She lived there until 1951. She moved back to Breckenridge in 1962 from Hamlin. She was an active member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Alathean Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
