Our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Howard Leon Henline, age 58, passed away March 7, 2002 in Sandy, Utah. Born July 23, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Howard Hayes and Jessie Mildred Partridge Henline.
Graduated Valedictorian from Springville High School. Married Cheri Lee Palmer June 14, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. Active member of LDS Church where he served as High Priest Group Leader and Sunday School president. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
Survived by wife, Cheri; children, Teresa Lee (Tod) Kehl, West Jordan; Melanie Ann (Robert) Ford, Bluffdale; Jodi Lynn (John) Wilkey, West Jordan; William Scott (Emily) Henline, West Jordan; Jennifer Coomer, Sandy; 12 special grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Sandy (Mont) Spencer, Payson; Ken (Linda) Henline, Riverton; Richard (Cynthia) Henline, Salt Lake City; Irene (Mike) Peterson, Bluffdale; James (Raelene) Henline, Sandy. Preceded in death by parents; son, Howard Charles Henline.
Dad was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. "I love you, Honey."
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Patrick McDermott and staff at Alta View ICU and a very special thanks to Andrea Hofheins for her loving care.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Hillcrest 9th Ward, 915 East Peach Blossom Drive (9095 So.). Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
