Ray "Moose" Crisp, 61, of 800 E. Seventh St., Owensboro, died Saturday, August 6, 1994, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in Daviess County, a son of William T. & Evelyn McBride Crisp; he was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School, a self-employed roofing contractor, a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Wanda Crisp; two stepsons, Stevie Payne of Germany and Pat Payne of Little Rock, AR; a stepdaughter, Rosemary Kurtze of Owensboro; seven step-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Nash of Tell City, IN and Laverne Hendrickson of Kettering, OH; and a sister-in-law, Rita Crisp of Owensboro. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Daviess County. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
