Floyd Neal Dillard, 82, died Sunday, August14, 2011, at the Glasgow Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Allen County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Beulah Gunnels Dillard and husband of the late Ollie Ballard Dillard. Mr. Dillard was a former farmer and worker at the Old Planning Mill; he was of the Baptist faith and formerly attended East Fork Baptist Church and Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He was dedicated and devoted to his church work and in being a prayer warrior for those in need or distress.

Survivors include three sons: Carl (Shelia), Terry (Sheila), and Bobby, all of Glasgow; A sister: Adine Levi of Glasgow. Four grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Geneva Lucille Riddle, Leona Woods, Audrey Polston and Earline Whitlow; and three brothers, Blon Dillard, Odell Dillard and Aubrey Dillard.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
