Ruth F. Kublic, 78, of Luther Crest in Allentown, formerly of Bryant Street in Stroudsburg, died Thursday at her home in Allentown.
She was a teacher at Ramsay Elementary school in Stroudsburg for 35 years, retiring in 1968.
Born in Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mabel Dietrick Fabel.
She was a lifelong resident of the Stroudsburg area, moving to Allentown three years ago.
She was a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, receiving a degree in education.
She was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, The Women's University Club and was past President of the Junior Women's Club of Stroudsburg.
Surviving are her husband, Shimer E. Kublic, at home, two brothers, William Fabel and Richard Fabel, both of Stroudsburg; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Warner - Pula Funeral home in Stroudsburg. Internment will be in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
