Ginny was co-owner of the legendary "Manny's" Burger Inn restaurant in Bozeman for over three decades, starting in the late 1940's. Some of her family members also worked at the diner from time to time in the 1950's. Often times employees could be seen as car hops on roller skates for drive-up service back then. Mannys was celebrated for its generosity to the community, and with enormous and satisfying portion served 363 days a year; serving starving MSU students, fishermen, hunters, and people throughout the west. She was a life long believer in Jesus, and her faith never wavered in spite of her illnesses later in life. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Spending holidays with family was something she always looked forward to. Time spent with her four great-grandchildren was especially wonderful for Genevieve, whom the great-grandchildren called "G.G."
Survivors include daughters Marcella Robino of Bozeman, and Sue (Mike) Pennington of Belgrade, sons Duryea "Durk" Voulkos and Daniel (Katrin) Voulkos of Bozeman, Grandchildren Josh(Stephanie) Robino, Robin (Bill) Mayer, and Christy (Alan) David. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren Jackson, Emma, and Abby Robino; William Mayer, her Sisters Jerita (Klaas) Andriesen of Bozeman, Irma Tiffany of Bozeman, Meredith (Chet) Moore, Dorothea Walden, Delores Broekema, Marcia (Ray) Hogue, Brothers Morries (Diane) Broekema and Willis (Beverly)Broekema as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parent William and Dorothy (Ungersma) Broekema, her step-father Pete Smith, her former husband Emanuel Voulkos, Brother Howard, brother in-law Ernie Tiffany, and sister-in Law Angie Broekema.
