Spec.5/c U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Spec. Schwiderski was killed in action by a rocket attack on 7-13-1969 while serving as a Vehicle Repairman {63C20} with Co. B of the 725th Maint. Battalion of the 25th infantry Division. Spec. Schwiderski started his tour of Vietnam on September 5, 1968.

He is the son of Mr. Bernard Floyd & Mrs. Meta C. {Schlosser} Schwiderski of Henry, Illinois, and is a 1963 graduate of Henry H.S., and the father of triplet sons, Scott Allen, Shawn Troy, Shannon Wayne, and a fourth son, Richard Dean in Henry. He also leaves one brother, Dana of Henry, and one sister, Mrs. Harold {Mary} Heider in Kentucky.

Awards: Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
