EUGENE F. DENNIE, 70, of Fort Wayne died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital.
The Fort Wayne native was a veteran of World War II, retired in 1982 from General Electric Co., and was a member of GE Quarter Century Club, American Legion Post 296, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 857 and Machinist Lodge 70.
Surviving are his wife, Florence; a daughter, Kathleen A. Hefner of Huntington; a sister, Betty J. Hontz of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, Darrell D. of Fort Wayne.
Calling is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Memorial services will be scheduled in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
