"The LaFayette Sun" - February 2, 1916:

Germany & Boyd To Be Style Of New Firm.

Mr. Armour Germany and Mr. Joseph Boyd, in about ten days, will open a new store in Lafayette, carrying a full like of furnishing goods for men and boys. They will occupy the old stand recently vacated by Mr. Cliff McCoy, about midway of the south block of the public square. They are young men of push and vim, have many friends in LaFayette and surrounding country, and will hustle for a fair share of the trade. They propose to make their store an attractive place where the best grade of goods will be displayed at the lowest possible prices, and where customers will always receive the most courteous treatment. They will have in connection with their business an up-to-date tailoring department.
