Marcia E. Harkness, 88, of Idaho Falls, died Aug 8,1993 at the home of her son in Idaho Falls of natural causes. She was born March 17, 1905, at Garfield, to Rueben Theodore and Mary Elizabeth Waters Barzee. She recieved her schooling at Birch Creek.
On March 4, 1925, she married Earl D. Harkness at Dillon, Montana. He died in 1944. She had worked at the Idaho Fresh Pak, Rogers Brothers, and was employed in the hot lunch program in the Roberts schools for many years.

Survivors include Pat Raymond of Menan, Dorothy Messick, Richard, Robert,and Myles Harkness of Roberts, Gale Harkness of Idaho Falls. Two sisters Yvonne Stewart of Roberts and Edith Price of Terreton; 33 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at the Salvation Army, 605 N Boulevard in Idaho Falls and Burial was at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
