Moore, Richard T. farmer section 16 P.O. Sigourney born in Virginia in 1799, and when young was taken by his parents to Chillicothe, Ohio where he was raised on a farm and lived there until he came to this county in 1853; he owns 149 acres of land and has lived where resides since coming to the county; he has held the office of Justice of Peace for many years as well as various township offices; he married first to Miss Mary Brown in 1821, she was born in Delaware and died in 1844; his second wife Mrs. Eliza Jane Gaskill, whose maiden name was Keen, she was born in Pike County, Ohio.
Richard T. and Mary Brown had 10 children; James, John, Eliza Jane (married a Moore), William, Daniel, David, Richard, Allen, twins Emily (Storm) and Amy (Wimer).
Richard T. & Eliza Jane Gaskill had 4 children; Rachel, Amanda (Belcher), Thomas, and Lutisha (Lute).
