Survivors include his widow, Esther, of Fierro; one son, David of Fierro; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Santos Borunda of Fierro; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Gonzales of Silver City and Miss Lupe Borunda of Fierro; two brothers, Jose of El Paso, Tex., and Alfredo of Fierro. Rosary services were held in the Curtis-Bright Funeral Chapel, at 8 p.m. Sunday with the funeral Mass being recited at the Fierro Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Internment followed in the Fierro Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. Paul Ragaziñskas officiating. Casket bearers were Jose Borunda, Jimmy L. Borunda, Steve Gonzales, Armando Amador, Willie Madrid, Jr., and Manuel Young Jr.
