Dennis K. "Denny" Bailey, Jr., age 45, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday afternoon August 8, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon on June 5, 1966 to Dennis and Melinda (Barber) Bailey, Sr. and was a 1985 graduate of Mona Shores H.S. He was employed as a machinist at Johnson Technology-G.E. Aviation until illness forced his early retirement this past June. Denny was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed NASCAR and wood crafting. On October 12, 1991 he married the former Juli B. Shriver and she survives along with their three sons, Matthew, Jacob and Lucas; his mother, Melinda Bailey of Fruitport; father, Dennis (Julie) Bailey Sr. of Norton Shores; two sisters, Melanie Galarneau of Fruitport and Jennifer (Brett) Chartrand of Fruitport; step-sister, Anna (Don) Reagan of Norton Shores; step-brother, Roy (Nicci) Koenig, Jr. of Whitehall; mother-in-law, Pauline Shriver; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
