While returning to Marion from Arkansas, Henry Agee was struck by a train and killed early Wednesday morning. The accident in which Mr. Agee lost his life occurred at Newport, Arkansas. The victim, who had been living in Arkansas the past two years, had expected to take employment in the county upon his arrival here.
Charles Hunt, a relative of Mr. Agee left Wednesday for Newport to arrange for the return of the body to Marion. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Except that Mr. Agee was driving in an automobile when struck by the train, no other details of the accident have been learned by relatives here.
A married daughter living in Washington, D.C., is the only near relative who survives Mr. Agee. He has numerous connections in Crittenden County.
