Survived by 6 daughters, Clara Noyes, Adeline Swanson and Janice Lunceford, all of Yakima, Bette Thompson and Helen Armstrong, both of Long Beach, CA, and Anne Schall of Rugby, ND; son, Leo Schumacher of Yakima; 2 brothers, Mike Schumacher of Linton, ND and Adam Schumacher of Livingston, MT; 4 sisters, Mary Ervin of Los Angeles, CA, Elizabeth Mathern of Linton, ND, Regina Reise of Strassburg, ND and Eva Moszer of Fargo, ND; 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Anna, died in 1963, and a daughter, Marian Johnson and her six children died in an accident in 1952.
