Mrs Russell (Gladys) Jones, 67, died Friday in Grady Memorial hospital.
She was born in Beebee, Ark, 11/14/1903. She lived in the Tuttle vicinity many years, later moving to Oklahoma City, where they lived several years, then returned to the Tuttle area a few years ago, living southeast of Tuttle.
Her service was held Monday in the Sowers Memorial chapel of the Seviers funeral home, with Rev J.B. Oaks officiating. Mrs D.L. Cobble, organist, accompanied by solist Miss Tyanne Burney, furnished the music. Pallbearers were nephews, Donnie Baker, James Baker, Buddie Baker, Robert Baker, Dan Jones, Harvey Dowdy, & Matt Jones Jr.
Survivors are her husband, Russell Jones, of the home, 3 daughters, Mrs Mattie Lou Fetters of Oklahoma City, Mrs Delores Mae Stevens of Fairfield, TX, & Mrs Ila Jean Savage of Almagorda, New Mexico, 1 son, J.W. Jones of Oklahoma City, and 3 sisters, Mrs Maebelle Chitwood of Amber, Mrs Gertrude Balch of Elton, TX, & Mrs Lucille Baker of Oklahoma City.
Interment was on the Tuttle Fairview cemetery under the direction of the Tuttle Sevier funeral home.
