Charity A. Klingensmith, 96, of Ashville, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2000, at her residence.

Born Pickaway County Ohio, January 21, 1904 to Ward B. and Anna Moore Powell. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon "Penny" Klingensmith, son-in-law Leslie COOK and granddaughter Rebecca Cook. Survived by her loving daughter Anne Cook. Grandchildren, David Cook, Robert Cook, Deborah Cook; great- grandchildren, Russel Cook, Nathan Cook, Brian Cook. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday with funeral 10;30 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester. Pastor Charles Mullerr officiating. Internment Lithopolis Cemetery.
