John L. Ellis, 67, of Gaston, a former Muncie resident, died at 5:20 o'clock yesterday morning at Ball Hospital. He was a former employee of the T.W. Warner Corporation and of the Muncie Products, and was a member of the Red Men's Lodge. Mr. Ellis had lived in Gaston during the past two years.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth H. Briggs of Gaston, Mrs. George Perkins of Indianapolis, and Mrs. John Newman of Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, James Ellis of Plymouth, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Meeks mortuary at 2 o'clock (DST) Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
