- Arthur David McClish, Hermitage, died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, in Orange Village Care Center, Masury, following a long illness. He was 88.
Mr. McClish was born March 19, 1922 in Woodlawn, Pa., a son of the late Charles and Margaret (Louden) McClish.
Art graduated from Brookfield High School in 1940.
He was a postal worker for the Sharon branch.
Art served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Art enjoyed talking on his CB radio.
Surviving are: his nieces, Janet Powell, Lois Heitz, Sandra Bowser, Donna Wright, Jeanne Romig, Cheryl O'Rourke, Betty Protos and Linda Bain; and his nephew, Alan McClish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Thomas McClish; and two sisters, Betty Nehlen and Margaret Hale.
Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Mr. McClish's nephews, the Rev. Paul Bowser and the Rev. Tim Wright, officiating. Full military honors will be provided by Hickory Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6166 Honor Guard.
Burial: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage."
