Son of Marion Arthur Armstrong and Dorothy White Armstrong.

Brother of David Christopher Armstrong.

Husband of Jan Armstrong.

He has two sons, Robert Blair Armstrong and wife, Sarah, and Joseph Christopher Armstrong, all of Vidalia; one sister, Marian Jean Emfinger and husband, Douglas, of Ridgecrest; two grandsons, Noah Michael Armstrong and Marion Jams Armstrong; one granddaughter, Eden Elizabeth Grace Armstrong; and five nieces, Theresa Clark, Rebecca Clark, Rhonda Kammerdeiner, Ashley Armstrong and Amber Armstrong.

He was employed as a paramedic/instructor and a was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Randy Sikes, Nathan Steele, Nolen Cothren, Paul Cangemi, Tommy Barron and Jay Barron.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shelby Carlton and the members of the EMS community.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Young's Funeral Home to help with medical expenses.
