Mrs Roy Borg born June 20th, 1915 near Taylors Falls in Shafer township yielded to the final call, still a young woman, at Bethesda Hospital, the third day of December. She had been ill through 2 months. She submitted to an operation following which heart complications set in. Mrs Borg was the daughter of Mr and Mrs O W Bonderson. She was active in many church organizations and a devoted member of the Chisago Lakes Lutheran Church. She was a prfound devotee in music and possessed a fine singing voice. She gave of that gift in song, to churches throughout the community. On April 10, 1938, she married Roy Borg at Center City. Mr. Borg and their son, Norman Ray, aged 3 survive her. Her school was at Taylors Falls, both grade and high school. Following her marriage she resided with her husband at Center City, Almelund and Chisago City.
The funeral services were held at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City, with the Rev Gilbert Monson officiating. Pastor and Mrs Peterson of Taylors Falls sang and Mis Arlene Jonason gave 2 solos. Mrs Borg had five sisters and one brother. Here sisters are Mrs Amy Jacobson and Mrs Ellen Anderson of Shafer, Mrs Ruth Jonason and Mrs Lillian Johnson of Center City, and Mrs Hildur Johnson and a brother Carl Bonderson of Taylors Falls. The pallbearers were Henry Jacobson, Carl Anderson, Edmund Jonason, Wendell Johnson, carson Strand and Arthur Swanson.
